The “My Journey with #TUMI50” Social Media Challenge

Terms and Conditions



1. How to Enter.

  • Share your memorable journeys and experiences with your beloved TUMI product(s), to show how TUMI has been essential to your journey.
  • Share your contents on Instagram social media account by tagging @TUMItravel, #TUMI50 and #PerfectingTheJourney. All three tags must be included with each entrant’s Submission, and Submissions without all three tags will be disqualified without further notice to the entrants.
  • Only Instagram main feed posts (in videos and/or images form) are accepted. Instagram stories posts are not accepted.
  • Social media account needs to set as public; and Instagram is the only accepted platform for entry into this Social Media Challenge.

By entering, each entrant warrants and represents the following with respect to entrant’s Submission: (a) entrant is the sole and exclusive owner of the Submission; and (b) the Submission will not infringe on any rights of any third parties.

Providing a Submission constitutes entrant’s consent to give TUMI a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, create derivative works from, and display such Submissions in whole or in part, on a worldwide basis, in perpetuity, and to incorporate it into other works, in any form, media or technology now known or later developed, for any purpose whatsoever, including for promotional or marketing purposes.

Participation in this Social Media Challenge is intended only for individuals of at least adult age, according to the jurisdiction which the individuals reside in. By participating in this Social Media Challenge, entrants warrant and represent that they are at least of adult age and they are with full authority, right, and capacity to abide by all of the Terms and Conditions of this Social Media Challenge. If an individual is not of adult age, they are prohibited from participating in this Social Media Challenge.

This Social Media Challenge is open to all citizens, permanent residents and holders of valid employment visa/pass/permit, residing in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, India, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, Jordan, Mauritius, Sri Lanka, Egypt and Pakistan. Employees (and their immediate families) of any company/entity within the Samsonite Group (“the Company”) and the employees who are handling TUMI business from the Company’s distributors, wholesale and travel retail partners are not eligible to participate in this Social Media Challenge.

There shall be no limit to the number of Submissions that each entrant may submit but each winning entrant shall only be entitled to one prize. For the avoidance of doubt, there shall not be more than one winner for each social media account.


2. Social Media Challenge Entry Start/End Dates.

The Social Media Challenge begins at 10:00am UTC/GMT+8 on Friday, April 25, 2025, and ends at 11:59 pm UTC/GMT +8 on Saturday, May 31, 2025.


3. Submission Guidelines and Content Restrictions:

By entering the Social Media Challenge, each entrant agrees that entrant’s Submission conforms to the Submission Guidelines and Content Restrictions as defined below (collectively, the “Guidelines and Restrictions”) and that TUMI, in its sole discretion, may remove any Submission and disqualify an entrant from the Social Media Challenge if it believes, in its sole discretion, that the entrant’s Submission fails to conform to the Guidelines and Restrictions.

Submission Guidelines and Restrictions:

  • The Submission must not contain material that violates or infringes any rights of any other party, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or any other intellectual property rights;
  • The Submission must not disparage any other person or party;
  • The Submission must not contain material that is inappropriate, indecent, obscene hateful, tortious, defamatory, slanderous or libelous;
  • The Submission must not contain material that promotes bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
  • The Submission must not contain material that is unlawful, in violation of or contrary to the laws or regulations of any jurisdiction where the Submission is created or any jurisdiction which TUMI has presence in;
  • The Submission must be consistent with the image and values of TUMI and be consistent with and satisfy the purpose of the Social Media Challenge.
  • TUMI’s decisions are final and binding in all matters relating to this Social Media Challenge, including, but not limited to, interpretation and application of these Terms and Conditions. By entering the Social Media Challenge, entrants fully and unconditionally agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, and all rules and the decisions of TUMI, which will be final and binding in all matters relating to the Social Media Challenge.

4. Winner Selection.

Winners will be voted and selected by TUMI team in its sole and final discretion. The judging criteria includes but not limited to creativity level, the level of authenticity in showcasing TUMI products, post engagement etc.


5. Prize(s).

Three winners shall win the following prize:

Grand Prize:

One (1) x TUMI 19Degree Lite Carry-On Luggage + One (1) x 2 Nights 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok – Bangkok, Thailand Hotel Voucher (voucher terms and conditions apply) with total approximate value of USD2,200.

Second Prize:

One (1) x TUMI Alpha Bravo Navigation Backpack + One (1) x 3 Nights REVĪVŌ Wellness Resort – Bali, Indonesia Hotel Voucher (voucher terms and conditions apply) with total approximate value of USD1,500.

Third Prize:

One (1) x TUMI 19Degree Carry-On Luggage with total approximate value of USD860.

Approximate retail values are in U.S. dollars and are calculated based on the Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Prices (MSRP) in Hong Kong. Tumi shall determine, in its sole and absolute discretion, which winner receives each prize package.

Prize package must be accepted as awarded and may not be substituted, transferred, resold or redeemed for cash or otherwise, except at TUMI’s sole discretion. TUMI reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of greater or equivalent monetary value if a prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason. Prize package will be delivered to the verified winner only to one (1) address. TUMI will not replace any lost or stolen prizes. Any other costs or expenses associated with the prize not specified herein, including but not limited to applicable taxes, will be the responsibility of selected winner.

In relation to the hotel vouchers, the redemption of hotel vouchers will be subject to the partner hotel’s terms and conditions. Any dealing of hotel voucher redemption must be handled between the winners and the partner hotel. TUMI shall not be responsible to intervene, facilitate, support, or act on behalf of winners, on anything related to the redemption of such hotel vouchers, including but not limited to the booking of rooms, any dispute arising from redemption and hotel stay.


6. Notification.

Winner(s) will be notified on or about Friday, June 6, 2025. Winner(s) will be notified by social media inbox. Winner(s) will be required to email TUMI within one (1) month in order to claim their prize. Winner(s) must, upon request, provide TUMI with all information necessary to facilitate the redemption of prize. If any potential winner cannot be contacted within one (1) month of first notification attempt, or if any prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or if any winner rejects his/her prize, or in the event of noncompliance with these Social Media Challenge Terms and Conditions, such prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to another eligible entrant. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.


7. Limitation of Liability; Disclaimer of Warranties.

IN NO EVENT WILL TUMI AND ANY OF ITS AFFILIATE ENTITIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR ACCESS TO AND USE OF THE ANY WEBSITES ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE, OR DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM ANY WEBSITES ASSOCIATED WITH THE SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THIS SOCIAL MEDIA CHALLENGE AND ALL PRIZES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS FOR ANY RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS REGARDING THESE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS.


8. Indemnity.

By participating in this Social Media Challenge, all entrants agree and undertake to, at all times, indemnify, keep indemnified, and hold TUMI, its employees and agents harmless against all losses (including direct, indirect, incidental and/ or consequential losses), damages (including general, special, and/or punitive damages), demands, injuries (other than personal injury caused by TUMI’s negligence), claims, costs, penalties, interest and fees (including all legal fees as between solicitor and client or otherwise on a full indemnity basis whether or not incurred in respect of any real, anticipated, or threatened legal proceedings), howsoever caused by, arising or resulting from, whether directly or indirectly, their participation in this Social Media Challenge, and/or any breach or purported breach of these Terms and Conditions and/ or any applicable law.


9. Data Privacy.

By participating in this Social Media Challenge, each entrant agrees and consents under applicable data privacy laws and regulations; as well as applicable TUMI’s Privacy Policy found on TUMI’s official websites, to the collection, use and disclosure of any and all personal data of the entrant by TUMI.

If an entrant provides TUMI with personal data of any third party, that entrant hereby agrees on behalf of that third party to be bound by the Terms and Conditions contained herein; and consents on behalf of that third party, to TUMI’s collection, use, disclosure and processing of his/her personal data in accordance with the Terms and Conditions contained herein and TUMI’s Privacy Policy. The entrant warrants that they have obtained the said third party’s prior consent to such collection, use, disclosure and processing of his/her personal data by TUMI and that the personal data that the entrant provides to TUMI is true, accurate and complete.

TUMI shall not be liable for any third party’s misuse of any entrant‘s submitted information as a result of the entrant taking part in this Social Media Challenge.


10. Final Discretion by TUMI.

TUMI has sole and absolute discretion to exclude any entrants from participating in this Social Media Challenge, or suspend/cancel any participation/entry, without any obligation to furnish notice and/or reason.

TUMI may at any time at its absolute discretion, without prior notice or assigning any reason thereof or being liable to any person, (i) suspend, cancel or terminate the Social Media Challenge, or (ii) delete, vary, supplement, amend, modify any one or more of the Terms and Conditions of the Social Media Challenge. TUMI’s determination of all matters in connection with the Social Media Challenge shall be final, binding and conclusive. TUMI is not obliged to give any reason or prior notice on any matter concerning the Social Media Challenge. No appeal, correspondence or claims will be entertained. TUMI has the right and discretion to determine whether a party has met the requirements the Social Media Challenge. Entrants shall not be entitled to any damages or compensation whatsoever or howsoever arising as a result of such amendment, suspension or termination.


11. General.

Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any materials in connection with TUMI are the property of TUMI. TUMI’s intellectual property may not be used without the prior written consent of TUMI.

All information, event details and mechanics are correct at the time of print/publication, and are subject to change without prior notice.

In the event of any inconsistency or discrepancy between the Terms and Conditions and the contents of any brochure, marketing and/or promotional materials relating to the Social Media Challenge, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

Failure by TUMI to exercise any of its right or remedy under these Terms and Conditions does not constitute a waiver of that right or remedy.

These Terms and Conditions are construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR. All parties including the participants submit themselves to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Hong Kong SAR.

These Terms and Conditions may be translated to languages other than English. In case of discrepancies, the English version shall prevail.
